With all the complex, high-tech tracking rollers on the market today, it is ironic that the tracking roller that has beaten them all is the one with the most brilliantly simple design.

The Tru-Trac Rollers are made, not just to look good on a technical drawing board, but to survive the grind and grit and constant wear of the real working environment. The way the Tru-Trac Roller tracks is so simple, you'll wonder if there is a catch. There isn't.

Like most tracking rollers, Tru-Trac Rollers track and guide conveyor belts to ensure the belts are not damaged by running off-centre and coming into contact with support frames and the like. That is where the similarity ends.

Tru-Trac Rollers employ a unique and highly effective tracking action, which is non-damaging to the belt and kicks-in immediately if the belt begins to track off-line. It does so without the use of costly and temperamental electronic sensors.

Tru-Trac Rollers are made from the highest quality materials and components. The drum of the roller is coated with a soft, moulded, wear resistant polyurethane or rubber material which ensures proper and effective contact between the surface of the belt and the roller. The bearing housing, front and back seal have been specifically developed for the entire Tru-Trac Rollers product range, to ensure effective sealing under adverse conditions.

Tru-TracOne of the most remarkable attributes of a Tru-Trac Roller is that it doesn't rely on cantact with the edge of the belt in order to guide the belt. This avoids belt-edge damage which happens frequently with other tracking systems. Rather, the Tru-Trac Roller has special tapers on the opposite sides of the roller, which cause the roller to pivot about an internal, vertical pivot axis, as the belt moves off-centre. As the roller pivots, it steers the belt back to it's central position. The rollers work equally well with both uni-direction and shuttle conveyors. Installation of Tru-Trac Roller is made simple as it fits into the standard hanger bracket of the existing return idler.

Each Tru-Trac Roller uses a pair of heavy duty bearings mounted in end caps in both end's which provide support for the roller drum over its full length and ensures absolutely concentric vibration-free rotation.

Tru-Trac Rollers has developed a range of rollers to track all types of conveyor belting. All of which means one thing. Tru-Trac Rollers are simple and robust, you can expect your repair and maintenance costs to be a fraction of what they would be with other tracking systems.
