Bend Pulleys Items # 2&4

Bend pulleys align the belt for the gravity take up pulley. These pulleys contact the carrying side of the belt, therefore are lagged with plain lagging to avoid material build up leading to belt wear and misalignment.When a bend is situated within the proximity of the drive it can perform the duties of a snub pulley.

Snub Pulleys Item #4

The sole purpose of this flat face drum is to provide a greater degree of belt contact on a drive pulley. This provides an extended length of belt contact, up to 210°, which prevents belt slippage.
